ILLUSTRATED PORTRAITS

“PORTRAIT” is one of the most powerful keywords in the Directory of Illustration’s robust search engine.

Think editorial, publishing, advertising…  think sports, political, educational, medical, famous and not so famous, kids, book covers, posters, pop art, comic book heros and games. Illustrated portraits can capture the likeness of contemporary and historical people and animals, both masculine and feminine, with or without lettering.

Portraits are a powerful way to visually communicate ‘who is doing what’ in our culture and society.

Portraits are a moment - dramatic, serene, memorialized, real, imaginary, regal, vanity, reflection, perspective.

Whether or not you like the portraits here, we think you you’ll be inspired by all of the portraits on www.directoryofillustration.com.

As always, I'm happy to help you add significant portraiture to your portfolio too.
